jfc it was way more than even just a “kidnapping.” They spent ten years enduring god knows what. Those women very well could’ve spent years more before having another opportunity for rescue. But yeah, let’s bring up this man’s criminal record in spite of rescuing those girls and continue to praise and reward Chris Brown, for example, for the same history (not to mention a complete lack of remorse surrounding it.)
